Experience
Gene began his career in facilities maintenance in 1981 as a maintenance technician for a local Board of Education, maintaining a 14 facility school campus. In 1987, he had the opportunity to begin a career with Delta Air Lines' headquarters in Atlanta, GA. He started as a mechanic's helper in the building maintenance department. At the end of his 15 year career at Delta, Gene had become the Sr. Project Manager for the 2.1 Million sq. ft. airline complex consisting of an 800,000 sq. ft. technical operations center, a 650,000 sq. ft. corporate office, and a 300,000 sq. ft. data center where Gene personally managed the day to day critical operations, including a 1.5 mega/watt generator plant and a UPS system.
After leaving Delta, Gene joined a local engineering firm where he was the Director of Operations for a portfolio of six Non- profit organizations. In 2004, Gene had the opportunity to start the Technical Trade Group specializing in: facilities management, facilities evaluations, project management, security, concierge services, event management, janitorial and inventory management services.
Presently, the Technical Trade Group, parent company of TMS, is managing nearly one million sq. ft. here in the Atlanta area.
Josh Ray

Experience
Josh began his career in maintenance in 1999 working as a press mechanic for historic Williams Printing Company in Atlanta, GA. His responsibilities ranged from repair and maintenance of high speed production equipment to HVAC and electrical equipment. In 2002, he took a position with a local facilities management firm servicing prestigious medical facilities in metro Atlanta such as global health care provider Kaiser Permanente, multiple surgery centers, and a high rise office and medical building. Josh managed day to day operations for many of their sites receiving multiple awards and certificates of recognition. In 2004, he partnered with Gene Barber to form TMS and the Technical Trade Group serving as Director of Operations for their growing portfolio. During this time, he has implemented operational programs for office buildings, churches, schools, and medical centers, and continues working to insure quality service throughout.
